The content in this book which details the lives of Edith Stella Knoll, Orville Gorman Babcock and their families was made possible primarily due to writing and journaling of Orville Gorman Babcock, Edith Stella Knoll Babcock, Kenneth Babcock, Gertrude Babcock, and Edith May Babcock.
These stories, photographs, and documents are invaluable treasures to ensure the recollections and experiences of those who came before us are not forgotten, thus helping the memory of our ancestors to live on through the generations.
Our hope is that the history of the Babcock/Knoll families can provide a meaningful connection to your roots; allowing you to appreciate the choices they made and understand the cultural, social, and historical context from which our family emerged. We sincerely believe that in making this link and granting yourself time for reflection, you will gain personal enrichment and perhaps a deeper perspective of your own life.
